Regulations on lightning protection and grounding of wind power
May 1, 2021 · This Recommendation addresses the practical procedures concerning the lightning protection, earthing and bonding of radio base station (RBS) sites.
(4) For the purpose of this section, a WCS licensee is potentially affected if it is authorized to operate a base station in the 2305-2315 MHz or 2350-2360 MHz bands within 25 kilometers of a repeater seeking to operate with an out of band emission attenuation factor less than those prescribed in paragraphs (h) (1) or (2) of this section.
§ 25.102 Station authorization required. (a) No person shall use or operate apparatus for the transmission of energy or communications or signals by space or earth stations except under, and in accordance with, an appropriate authorization granted by the Federal Communications Commission.
(ii) The 6 dB bandwidth is at least 500 kHz; (iii) The maximum transmit power is no more than 1 W with a peak EIRP of no more than 6 dBW; (iv) The maximum power spectral density conducted to the antenna is not greater than 8 dBm in any 3 kHz band during any time interval of continuous transmission;
(k) Space station downlinks operating as SCS under the provisions of § 25.125 and § 2.106 (d) (33) (i) of this chapter are subject to the following rules. (1) Out of band emission limits.

Birds Nesting on Towers: If birds are nesting on communication towers that require maintenance activities, contact the state natural resource protection agency and/or the USFWS for permits,
Do base station antennas increase wind load?Base station antennas not only add load to the towers due to their mass, but also in the form of additional dynamic loading caused by the wind. Depending on
Can communication and power coordination planning improve communication quality of service?Our study introduces a communications and power coordination planning (CPCP) model that
(a) No person shall use or operate apparatus for the transmission of energy or communications or signals by space or earth stations except under, and in accordance with, an appropriate authorization
Explore the resources below to better understand the wind project siting process, including how to analyze wind maps and data, navigate permits and ordinances, and apply best practices for project
CCS is willing to work together with other enterprises in the industry to establish technical code system for offshore wind power facilities, providing protection for healthy, sustainable development of China
Wind power is one of the fastest-growing technologies for renewable energy generation. Unfortunately, in the recent years some cases of degradation on certain telecommunication systems have arisen.
§ 24.232 Power and antenna height limits. (a) (1) Base stations with an emission bandwidth of 1 MHz or less are limited to 1640 watts equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP) with an antenna height
We investigate the use of wind turbine-mounted base stations (WTBSs) as a cost-effective solution for regions with high wind energy potential, since it could replace or even outperform
